I was born and raised in the suburbs of Vancouver, Canada. I was an only child to a single mom and loved it! I was spoiled to death, and though my mom didn't have much money, we had a lot of love. She taught me how to be a strong-willed, outspoken woman. She taught me how to cook. She taught me how to be thrifty and she passed along to me her creative touch.
I lost my mom to lung cancer 9 years ago, when I was just 21 years old. She didn't see me get married, or build my first house, or birth my three angels....but I know she's with me every day!
I've dabbled in many things in life....including three years in University working on a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology (never finished....had to come home and care for my mom when she was diagnosed with cancer). I am a certified Welder and worked as a Fabricator building backhoe buckets when I met hubby. I have a part-time home-based business with a major Skin Care and Cosmetics company.
Let me introduce you to my family....
This is my better half, Curt. He's Scottish, plays the Highland snare drum and he looks damn good in a kilt. We make gorgeous babies.
These are my kiddos. They are sweet and well-manered....when we have company. As soon as you leave, watch out!
They rock my world and I couldn't imagine not being a mommy!
We have an adorable cat Lulu. We got her at the SPCA and she is the most dosile, tolerable cat you'll ever meet.
And this is our family...crazy, loud, and never a dull moment in our house!
